Dear Sir / Madam,
MÜSİAD, the Independent Industrialists & Businessmen’s
Association, is glad to announce that the forthcoming 12th
MÜSİAD International Trade Fair will take place between
23-26 October 2008, in Istanbul Fair Center, Yeşilköy-Istanbul.
In conjunction with that occasion, MUSIAD will also host the 12th International
Business Forum (IBF) Congress which will be held between
22‑25 October 2008 in the Grand Cevahir Hotel & Convention
Center.
MÜSİAD International Trade Fairs promise to give the
indispensable means of increasing sales, expanding to the
promising markets.
Being in a strategic location like Turkey, -having access to
Europe, Eastern-Europe, Middle-East, Central Asia and Northern
Africa, as Turkey having been included in the list of top
emerging markets,- buttressed with good infrastructure perfect
to be a hub, abundant natural and human resources, and
complemented with the professional business-promoting events;
MÜSİAD has the willingness to continue to initiate prosperous
commercial opportunities for the competent business
entrepreneurs who are willing to take part in the fair as well
as visiting it, this year again.
In the last session,
MUSIAD International Trade Fair had more than
170,000 visitors along with exhibitors & visitors from
61 different countries. The event was held concurrently with
the 10th International Business Forum (IBF) Congress,
which was also organized by us, MUSIAD. In both, we had
participation of 27 prime‑ministerial and ministerial level
participation and other high level bureaucrats and businessmen.
On the trade side, the 2006 session generated millions of
dollars of trade agreements among businessmen. Participants to
the fair have utilized Business Networking Service (BNS),
sector-based workshops, along with socio-cultural activities and
performances.
Given that your institution and / or companies are potential
MÜSİAD 2008 visitors and participants, we would like to offer
our services to help you organize a group visit, making travel
arrangements and hotel reservations through our initiative,
offering free access to the fair grounds, providing detailed
information on parallel activities which may suit your

The 12th MÜSİAD International Trade Fair & the 12th International
Business Forum (IBF) Congress are additionally supported by

Industry, MFA‑Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey,
DTM‑Undersecretariat of the Turkish Prime Minister for

and Medium Industry Development Organization of Turkey, ITO‑Istanbul
Chamber of Commerce, IBB‑Istanbul Metropolitan
Municipality, and THY‑Turkish Airlines. Both events will
be organized under the auspices of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,
Prime Minister of
Turkey.
MÜSİAD highly stresses and bets again on reinforcing motto of “Global

achieve a higher level of satisfaction.
To brief on our organization, MÜSİAD, the Independent
Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association, was established in
1990 by five industrialists and businessmen, and now has around
2.900 members, more than 12.000 companies and 28 branch-offices
all over Turkey as well as focal points in over 30 countries.
MÜSİAD is a non-profit organization and its headquarters is
located in Istanbul. MÜSİAD offers professional services to its
members in an efficient way throughout Turkey and
internationally.

by the IBF
Numerous busşnessmen from 30
countries, who are members of the IBF have been increasingly
participating in MUSIAD Trade Fairs every year. These
businessmen have the chance to meet their Turkish counterparts,
as well as other foreign businessmen. IBF's annual congress were
held in Lahore - Pakistan in 1995, in Istanbul in 1996, 1997 and
1998, in Cape Town - South Africa in 2000, in Kuala Lumpur -
Malaysia in 2001, in Tehran - Iran in 2003, in Istanbul - Turkey
in 2006 an the 11th IBF congress was held in Abu
Dhabi - United Arab Emirates on 27-28 November 2007.
