The 1st MUSIAD International Trade Fair was organized in the city of Izmir in 1993 with the aim of gathering MUSIAD members to be acquainted with each other and developing business cooperation among them, and has proven that there is a definitive need for the establishment of a exhibition in Turkey as a regular fair for information exchange, networking, presenting, and easy access to the markets. The first fair got the big attention of our members and attracted business world.

After being held in Izmir three years in a row, the fair was moved to Istanbul and since 2000; it has been successfully organized every two years. MUSIAD fair is 13 years old now and in 12 years; it gathered 3.526 exhibitors as member of MUSIAD, 349 international exhibitors, 1.180.000 domestic visitors and 7.024 foreign businessmen in 104.106 sq m stand area.

Simply with regard to size, MUSIAD fairs are one of the biggest exhibitions held in Turkey with its number of domestic and foreign exhibitors, and visitors. To achieve a higher level of satisfaction of the visitors, MUSIAD highly stresses and bets again on reinforcing motto of “Global Business Networking among Nations”.
